Yes, this is a real "twitter holiday", but I've never gotten a big youtube banner for a twitter holiday and I check youtube daily
Maybe for big holidays?

I think I would be more inclined to believe that someone had reviewed the conversation than the AI had literally done it autonomously

There is always the vaunted and gloried path of: Become certifiably insane.

Though personally I think we've enough of those types around, a little reality check and/or assigning a [fucky] tag to an event and dismissing can do wonders for the psyche.
If you really wanted to we could break down each known aspect and potentiality then proceed to review them all - from "did I consciously or unconsciously know about this holiday event?" and "Did knowledge of this upcoming event prompt me to use that question, though I've used it before?" all the way through to "is there someone reviewing specifically my AI chats among many thousands per day in order to manually place banners on my(and presumably others) YouTube accounts in order to simulate a globally connected artificial intelligence approaching a type of digital godhood?" - whilst applying a logically derived 'likelihood value' as we go, then running calculations to give a result that will probably only be queried by the rational and non-rational mind anyway and bringing the validity of the process itself in to question.

Buuuut... I think [fucky] and archive the pondering may apply on this one.
